Tesamorelin
Growth Hormone · 10 mg fill · Research Peptide
A stabilised analogue of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, modified at the N-terminus.
Overview
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44), carrying a trans-3-hexenoic acid group at the N-terminus. That modification is the defining feature of the molecule: it slows enzymatic cleavage of the peptide chain relative to unmodified GHRH. As a research compound it is of interest for GHRH-receptor binding studies and for comparative work on how N-terminal conjugation changes the stability of a peptide analogue. Supplied lyophilized for laboratory research.
